3 days · 12 stops
Friday
Day One

Land at Naples, drive to Sorrento, ferry into Positano harbor at dusk. Settle into a cliffside room, dinner on a candlelit terrace.

●
Naples → Sorrento → Positano transfer
Quickest path: Naples Airport → train to Sorrento (75 min), then SITA ferry to Positano (35 min). Avoid the SS163 if your day-1 falls on a Friday — coastal road traffic doubles after 16:00.
●
Spiaggia Grande arrival
Positano's main pebble beach below the village — vertical houses stack the cliff above, Saracen watchtower marks the western edge. Late-afternoon swim before dinner.
●
Le Sirenuse — La Sponda dinner
Michelin-starred restaurant lit by 400 candles each night, Praiano lemon souffle is the dessert. Jacket recommended; book at check-in. sirenuse.it
●
Aperitivo at Franco's Bar
Adjacent to Le Sirenuse — cliff-edge terrace, Aperol spritz over the bay at golden hour. No reservations; arrive by 18:30 for a railing seat.

Day Two

Path of the Gods at sunrise, lunch at a sea-level beach club, afternoon in the village shopping linen and ceramics, evening at a fishermen's trattoria.

●
Sentiero degli Dei (Path of the Gods)
Bomerano (Agerola) → Nocelle ridge trail — 7 km, 3-4 hours one way, 500 m descent, postcard views of Capri and the Faraglioni. Start at 07:00 to beat both the heat and the day-tour crowds. Bus 5040 from Positano to Bomerano via Amalfi.
●
Da Adolfo, Laurito beach
Wood-shack trattoria at sea level — free Da Adolfo shuttle boat from Positano pier (red-fish flag, hourly). Grilled mozzarella on lemon leaves, totani e patate. daadolfo.com
●
Via Pasitea + Via Cristoforo Colombo shopping
Positano-style linen sundresses (Lara Capelli, Pepito's), hand-painted ceramics (Ceramica Assunta) and bespoke leather sandals (Safari sandals — fitted in 20 min).
●
La Tagliata, Montepertuso
Family-run hillside trattoria 300 m above Positano — no menu, just whatever Mama Tagliata cooked, served family-style. Free shuttle from Piazza dei Mulini. Spotify-playlist views. latagliatapositano.com

Day Three

Furore fjord and Praiano in the morning, Ravello terraces in the afternoon, then the ferry back to Naples for the flight.

●
Fiordo di Furore
Italy's only fjord — a sliver of cove under a 30 m bridge between Praiano and Amalfi. Swimming allowed before 11:00; after that the bridge crowd takes the photos. SS163 pull-out parking.
●
Marina di Praia
Tiny fishing cove with two trattorias — La Brace and Da Armandino. Order the spaghetti alle vongole and the local Costa d'Amalfi white. Praiano sits on the SS163 between Positano and Amalfi.
●
Ravello — Villa Cimbrone + Belvedere of Infinity
Drive up to Ravello (45 min from Positano) — 11th-century villa, terraces stacked with 19th-century busts, view of the Costiera dropping into the Tyrrhenian. Wagner finished Parsifal here; the gardens stay open until sunset. hotelvillacimbrone.com
●
Return ferry to Sorrento + train to Naples
NLG ferry Positano → Sorrento (35 min), Circumvesuviana train to Naples Centrale (75 min). Allow 4 hours total from Ravello to NAP airport.
